Installing an Intermediate CA Certificate or CA Bundle on your Web Hosting Package

To install an Intermediate CA Certificate or CA Bundle on your cPanel Linux Web Hosting Package

1. Login to your Control Panel, search for the domain name for which you have purchased this cPanel Linux Hosting Order and go to the Order Details view. 1

2. Click the Manage Web Hosting link.

3. Click the Manage Web Hosting button to get automatically logged into your cPanel interface.

4. Click the SSL/TLS Manager button under Security.

5. Click the Setup a SSL certificate to work with your site. link under Activate SSL on Your Web Site (HTTPS).

6. Select the Domain for which you have a digital certificate.

7. If you have already installed your digital certificate, mention the Intermediate CA Certificate or CA Bundle within the Ca Bundle (CABUNDLE) textbox. Alternatively, you may paste your digital certificate along with your Intermediate CA Certificate or CA Bundle in their respective text boxes.

   Note

   If you have purchased a thawte SSL123 Certificate, SSL Web Server Certificate or SSL Web Server Wildcard Digital Certificate through HostRelax, then you need to install the thawte Cross Root CA and Intermediate CA together as a CA Bundle. 2

To install an Intermediate CA Certificate or CA Bundle on your Linux Web Hosting Package

1. Login to your Control Panel. 3

2. Proceed to the Web Hosting Management interface. 4

3. Click Manage Website -> SSL Manager -> Add

4. Here you need to paste the Intermediate CA Certificate within the textbox titled as Bundle (Optional).

5. Click the Add button to submit the same.

   Note

   • If you have already added a Certificate, then you need to click the Add button and then paste your Certificate within the textbox titled as Bundle (Optional).

   • In order to complete the action in case of Linux Hosting, the Web Server needs to be restarted. Random restarts affect other services running on the Server. In order to avoid this, the Server has been scheduled to restart at intervals of 20 minutes. Hence, certificate installation might take upto 20 minutes for completion.

To install an Intermediate CA Certificate or CA Bundle on your Windows Web Hosting Package

1. Login to your Control Panel. 5

2. Proceed to the Web Hosting Management interface. 6

3. Click Manage Website -> Intermediate CA Certificates -> Add Certificate

4. Paste the Intermediate CA Certificate in the textbox.

5. Click the Add button to submit it.

   Note

   When you paste your Intermediate CA Certificate, it is essential that you copy the certificate without any leading, trailing or intermediate spaces. Any spaces in your certificate would cause failure in the installation.
